History

Tandrin Ney
Tandrin Ney was first discovered by Buddhist practitioner Tok-Chung in the 20th Century. In the site, one can see Dorji-Phagmo’s (Vajravarani) hermitage and Guru Lhakhang, La-Tsho, a cavernous passage that makes a distinction between the good and the evil, hermitage of Tadrin and holy water, and many other holy sites. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the site on foot from Samarzingkha Lhakhang and can be travelled back directly from the Thadrak Goenpa within 30 minutes. It takes around 10 minutes by car and there is a way from Yangchenphu Higher Secondary School to the site too.
