History

Changangkha Lhakhang was established by Nima (son of Phajo Drugom Zhigpo) in the 13th Rabjung and is considered as one of the oldest monasteries. Below the Lhakhang, one can find the holy water which drips from the Tandin, and also the holy water of Drukpa Kuenley nearby the roadside. However, the diamond which was said to have existed in the past cannot be seen today.
